Can a SIM card be used for data only on iPhone?

I would like to use an iPhone SE 3rd gen with:

i) the physical SIM card for calls and texts only, and

ii) the e-SIM for data only.

Is it possible?

In other words: I don't want the physical SIM card to receive any call.

Can it work this way?
