Airplay problems with some websites streaming content and not others
Can anyone tell me why when trying to project programming using airplay from my MacBook Pro to my samsung smart TV when watching programming on Channel 4 using a VPN the ads play both video and audio but the programs only play audio and have a black screen.
I am able to see video on my MacBook screen but as soon and I hit the screen mirroring and chose my samsung TV ( bought in France) I lose the picture.
I have seen many other posts about this. I suspect that it is blocked by Channel 4 but not sure.

I have a newish MacBook Pro 2022 running sequoia 15.1
new Samsung smart TV 2024 (France)
network for WIFI Orange 4G France
Good wifi and able to stream on both my MacBook Pro and my Samsung TV.
Just bought new Apple TV box and hooked it up. All works well.
I can use Airplay to project when using the PBS website while using a VPN. (Some programs are not available in my region (France))
I can also watch Youtube using airplay.
Plan to buy a VPN service for my new Apple TV but wanted to check them out first on my MacBook.
It seems that the only site right now that won't play video is Channel 4 ?
If I change the VPN could that help? Are there any settings in the Apple TV box that I can change? Just updated software as soon as I set it up so it is not that.
Thanks for any ideas.
Until I solve the problem I guess I will watch my British shows on my small laptop screen.
