What does "No such file or directory" mean in iverilog on Mac?

I am trying to run Verilog file in my Mac but when I am typing the command iverilog -o mux.vvp mux_tb.v then it is showing mux_tb.v: No such file or directory

No top level modules, and no -s option.

Please disregard my previous question about what iverilog is, I found it.

Now, the command can't find the file.

Do you have a file named "mux_tb.v"? Where is that file? Presumably, inside some folder in your account (but not sitting directly in your home folder).

Here is a neat little trick:

In Terminal, type "cd "

WITHOUT the quotes, and WITH a trailing space; do NOT press enter yet

Drag the FOLDER that contains your mux_tb.v file and drop it on the Terminal window

Press enter

This will set the current directory of your Terminal session to be the one containing your file; now your command should work.
