Printer connection issue on iMac

I have seen a number of users have problems connecting to their printers, and the same is true for me. I just got a new iMac with OS Sequoia 15.3. My old printer, which I have been using since about 2009 and it still works beautifully, is the Kayocera TASKalfa 250ci, plugged into my router (d-link 6F47) which is connected to my modem, and I have a NETGEAR wireless N-300 USB Adapter WNA3100 attached to the computer, which of course I unplugged from the old computer — they dumped everything into the new one and the old one is gone. Both the router and the modem are working fine, and when I ask the computer to print, everything appears to be working right up to the moment of sending the command to the printer. Is there a magic word or command that will set everything right?

What is the WiFi USB Adapter (WNA3100) doing? You would have built-in Wi-Fi in the new iMac. So, a USB Wi-Fi adapter will not be needed, and a driver for this adapter would not be compatible with the latest macOS versions anyway.

Regarding the TASKalfa 250ci, a printer driver would be needed. There seems to be a universal Mac driver (5.6?), but I cannot find any information about its compatibility with macOS versions. What have you tried here?

A data sheet for the 250ci indicates that the printer can handle PCL6 and KPDL 3 (PostScript 3 compatible). So, if a compatible Mac driver cannot be found, a generic macOS PCL or postscript driver could possibly be tested.
