Apple Car Play disconnects even with new Cables

I have an iPhone 13 and a 2018 Hyundai Sonata. The CarPlay barely works anymore, even with a brand new cable bought directly from Apple. Blue tooth is not an option. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any tips or suggestions? Thanks.

Apple Car Play doesn't connect after upgrade to IOS18 I have an Audi Q7 and Q5, and after upgrade to IOS18, my phone (15ProMax) will not connect to either car via USB. I was able to connect once after multiple attempts, but when I went to my car the next day, it would not connect again. Before the upgrade, I was able to connect to both cars with no issues just by plugging in the USB cable. Both cars have Bluetooth connectivity (Audi MMI) and I can still take/make calls using Bluetooth, but the Carplay will not come up on the infotainment screen and I cannot play audio (Audible) through my car. Again, I was able to connect once but hasn't worked again, and I had no issues with using Bluetooth (MMI) and wired connection before the upgrade to IOS18.

Contact your Hyundai dealer to have them check the USB connector in the car. Then the last thing would be to have the connector on the iPhone checked by Apple Support.
