After the last update, when I hold down the side button, I see a multicolor ring around my screen. I’m including a screenshot.

LOL. Google can also tell you the earth is flat. But to reality, Zachyy is correct. That is the Siri automation. Had you asked a question after holding the power button, Siri would have responded.
That is the new Siri UI.
