Find My on iPhone 12 mini is grayed out
Find my phone is switched on but the green button is not the bright color that it should be. It is like it is frozen. It can’t be turned on or off.

Or if you have Stolen Device Protection enabled, you won’t be able to toggle Find My. You’ll need to turn that off first in Settings > Face ID and Passcode > Stolen Device Protection and turn off. Note that you may need to wait the 1 hour security delay.

No problem!
The ability to lock Find My is a feature of Parental Controls, MDM (Mobile Device Management), any business or school if you have an email account with them.
That worked! Thank you so much.
