Media Extensions missing in the System Settings menu

Hello, I was looking at this link but I can’t find the Media Extensions option on my macOS Sequoia.

Import third-party formats with media extensions in Final Cut Pro for Mac

1. Download and install the media extension for the third-party media format you want to use.
2. In Final Cut Pro, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click General  in the sidebar, then click Login Items & Extensions. (You may need to scroll down.)
3. In the Extensions section, click the Info button next to Media Extensions, turn on any format readers, decoders, or processors for the media extension (you may need to scroll down), then click Done.
4. Quit Final Cut Pro (if it’s open), then reopen Final Cut Pro.

From what I’ve seen on the Final Cut Pro help page, I need the Media Extensions option to enable FCP to import third-party video formats. How does this work?

I’m using an Intel macbook pro, I wonder if that’s the problem.

Please tell me how to enable Media Extensions here, thank you.

However, on my System Settings menu, I cannot find the Media Extensions option under the Login Items & Extensions category. This means I cannot enable the Media Extensions feature for Final Cut Pro.

Did you download and install a media extension?

1. Download and install the media extension for the third-party media format you want to use.

There isn’t a singular “Media Extension.” You must install a media extension and it should be available, there.

I was referring to the Final Cut Pro help page that states “you can import third-party formats with media extensions in Final Cut Pro for Mac”.

The Media Extensions feature built into macOS lets you use third-party media formats that aren’t natively supported in Final Cut Pro.
Note: The Media Extensions feature requires macOS Sequoia or later.

This is saying that Sequoia can import third-party video formats that aren’t natively supported in Final Cut Pro. For example, I want to import .webm format.

However, on my System Settings menu, I cannot find the Media Extensions option under the Login Items & Extensions category. This means I cannot enable the Media Extensions feature for Final Cut Pro.

If I can enable the option, this can lead to my FCP to have this feature below under the Info Inspector on the right.
