Upgrading iPad 6th generation to iOS17 or higher
Should I be able to upgrade to IOS17 or higher?

An iPad 6th Generation from 2018, can update to iOS 17 but no further. With iOS 17.7.4 being the most up to date version it can update to at this time.
Go to Settings ➜ General ➜ Software Update to start the process.
If you have an issue please explain what that is.
