How can I rejoin a group chat and respond normally on iPhone?

I accidentally removed myself from a group chat with my kids and now when I respond to the group message, I have to start a completely new message again. It shows in the former history but any sort of "thumbs up" or other shortcut response "Heart" I can't use at all. Or emoji. How can I fix this so it works like the normal imessages again?

Unable to rejoin an iMessage group chat after being removed I got removed from a Group chat and can’t rejoin. I asked the owner to try to re add me and it kept saying I left it when In reality didn’t. I asked another person aswell and it still didint work. Could someone tell me how to fix it? More info Phone is updated to newest version Iphone only GC tried to use multiple devices.
