How can I disable Touch ID for messages and phone calls?

Somehow I turned on Touch ID to open all my messages and my iPhone. I need to find out how to turn that off because now it’s requiring touch ID for phone calls and text messages. Any solution I’ve asked hasn’t helped. They say go to Settings, Touch ID and Passcode, then just slide those items off that used touch ID. But I turned off the phone one and it still requires touch ID. So that didn’t work. As for messages there’s not an option for that. Please see the picture which shows the only option I’m given. It’s not in the list of things to use for touch ID. So now I’m not even sure how I turned it on
