After subscribing Apple TV, iTunes suddenly is not working. The message poped said "your music movies and tv shows are now available in the apple music and apple tv apps". I can not find iphone device in itunes when connected through USB any more. I wonder how to sync outlook with iphone through itunes. I also want to know how to get my music library back in itunes. Thanks.

Did you select Music from the media selection tool at the top left? Some playlists may show in multiple sections of the library. If that isn't the issue try Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community.

Normally it is enough to uninstall the new apps. I figured when reinstalling iTunes you might have potentially installed a different build triggering an upgrade of the library, which occasionally fails. Yes, it is an issue they can and should fix. I don't think it is deliberate.

After unsintalling apple tv and reinstalling itunes, the music playlist and sync are back. But the songs are missing. How to add the music library again? All the songs are still in the same folder on my pc.
Once you've got rid of Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Devices all the functions of iTunes are restored, including the ability to make purchases from the iTunes Store. The Apple Music website lets you play your purchases/iCloud Music Library, but it won't let you download anything.

Exactly. You can use both on the web though. The apps break iTunes, and Apple Music isn't anywhere near as useful.

This is a serious hole for Apple. They should fix it (if not intentionally set).
One more question. Now iTunes does not allow to purchase songs, right? So I need to go to Apple Music website and download songs to the iTunes folder, right?
