Bt emails disappearing on iPads and iPhone after iOS update

This started the day my phone updated and used email on my PC for the 1st time. Could either of these caused this?

The BT email is the one I have had for years and used by my bank, etc, so losing mails is serious.

Nothing to do with ios update, as you BT emails is stored on BT server and not on your phone.

Delete and re-add the BT Account.

Escalate the issue with BT support.
