Unable to change App Store region due to $0.01 balance

I’m trying to change my App Store country/region, but I have $0.01 left in my account balance. Since I can’t find anything to buy for that amount, I need help clearing the balance so I can proceed with changing my region. Please assist me with resolving this issue

You can contact Apple Support and ask that they clear that $ .40. Here are the steps:


  1. Visit Apple Support.
  2. Under the See All Products section, click the Choose a product link.
  3. Click Apple Account, then select Other Apple Account Topics.
  4. Choose Clear Apple Account Balance from the options.
  5. Click Continue, and you’ll be shown how to contact Apple via chat.
