How can I download Amazon Music files to my MacBook Air?

Is there a simple way to download music I have (foolishly) purchased from Amazon so that I can listen to it in the Apple Music app? I'll be downloading to a MacBook Air.

It's been a long time since I bought music from Amazon but it used to be that you logged into your account from a web browser, paid the fee and hit the download button. You could then add those mp3 files to iTunes/Music.

What steps are you taking? What happens when you try?

Are you talking about songs that you purchased from the Amazon MP3 Store? Or songs from the Amazon Music subscription service?

You should be able to import the former directly into your Music library. They have metadata in them, identifying you as the purchaser, but that won't keep them from playing. WIth Amazon Music subscription songs, my guess would be that those would only work with Amazon's own Web player or Amazon Music application.
