The list of available updates on my iphone13 shows only ios18.
I want to update to ios17 , not ios18. (Wish to delay having to do the ios18 update until later in 2025).
Please tell me the steps to obtain the ios17, if it's possible. Thank you.

Sorry, but it's not possible. iOS 17 is no longer an option for your phone. If you want to update, which you should want to do, your only option is the currently supported iOS 18.3. And if you are currently on iOS 16, you've skipped about 3 years worth of updates, which means you've skipped many many many security updates, leaving you vulnerable to exploits. That's never a good thing.

Apple has never allowed updates to obsolete iOS versions.
