Why hasn’t my Apple Pay balance updated

I recently got refunded for a pair of shoes i bought on eBay using Apple Pay and it shows that I’ve been refunded on my transaction but my balance hasn’t updated and I read that it takes time but it’s now been 4 days.I also never had an original payment method and after reading forms online it says that the Apple Pay refund goes to your original payment method like a debit or credit card but I never had an original payment method now I don’t know what to do and can just hope I didn’t lose out on $140 :(
