Stayfree Desktop Application update causing Macbook Pro 2021 M1 to just freeze

Last night, I was prompted to update Stayfree. Within a minute, it bricked the computer. I could still move the cursor but clicking any windows was not having any effect. Soon after, even the cursor would not move. Only recourse was restarting, but the problem occurred again. I suspected it may have been Stayfree since it occurred while I was adding some configuration. The issue was the computer freezes within seconds of restart and login. I had to open Force Quit ASAP. However, Stayfree tries to open again after it is quit. So I needed to force quit one more time. This is a BIG issue. I usually have Stayfree run from computer start as I find its function useful. However, I will probably uninstall until this is fixed. My OS is Sequioa, still have 92GB in storage. Best of luck to Stayfree team.
