I'm trying to transfer from an old Mac to a new one with Migration Assistant and it tell me there is not enough space. However, I'm sure there should be plenty on the new Mac. Is there a remedy or an override? I've gone through the process twice with my "My Book Studio" and Mac to Mac with Migration Assistant on my Network.

It is not uncommon to go from an older Mac with a 1TB mechanical hard drive to a new Mac with 512GB (or less!) of SSD.
Can you tell us the storage size of the two Macs?
