Need help to reset MacBook Pro Password I've forgotten

Hello,

I have forgotten my password for my MacBook Pro with an old operating system, how can I reset it? Please help. I have created a hint, but it is not helping. I have tried more than three times in a row, but I never get an option to reset it. Probably because the IOS is so old. Any help is much appreciated!
