Why is my MacBook Pro space bar typing an equal sign instead of space
when I hit the space bar on my Mac it puts a “=“ instead, I’ve changed all the keyboard settings and it’s still doing it ??

Does this happen in all apps including Safari, Mail, Messages, Notes, etc? There aren't any settings that would make space bar do that. Try an external keyboard, the internal one could be damaged.
