AirPods 4 won't connect with my iPhone 15 on iOS 18.3

My recently purchased Airpods 4 would not like to be connecting with my iphone 15. The case is charging, but the right pod is not getting charged, while the right pod is fine, it charges. After resetting it to the factory settings (3x2 times tapping, etc.), it still blinking orange 2 times, then suddenly blinking white. After closing it, and opening it, it repeats orange, than white, but stays white. When I take out the right pod, it do not recognize that I have taken it out. Can it be hardware problem? My Iphone is on the latest software (18.3). I'm hopeless.
