Canon MX292 printer driver options for macOS Sequoia
I just upgraded my iMac to macOS Sequoia. I have a Canon MX292 printer. Canon doesn't have a driver for Sequoia. What are my options?

Problem solved. I called Apple support and it was fixed remotely. They had me delete the driver and reinstall a new one (something I tried before and it didn't work). They also had me turn off a bunch of apps that were from unknown sources (the Mac is a month old, so don't know what that was about). I really didn't want to go the AirPrint route.
Thanks everyone.
Try the European site for Canon as the EU has stricter requirements for companies to support oder printers on newer systems. A Sequoia driver for your printer model may be offered.
The PIXMA MX922 supports AirPrint and should work in macOS 15 without any attentional drives or software from Canon.

The MX492 also supports AirPrint and should work with macOS 15 without any attentional drives from Canon.

As already mentioned by den.thed, the Canon MX492 is listed as supported in the About AirPrint article (en-us edition January 13, 2025). Therefore, it should be compatible with the latest macOS versions without additional drivers. Make sure that the printer is wirelessly connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router) as the Mac computer. However, you may also have to check whether a printer firmware update has been made available by Canon.
An older AirPrint guide from Canon UK (for European models, such as the MX495) could perhaps be of some interest in this context.
The printer is MX492 not 292 or 922. There is no driver for MX492 for 15.3 on the Canon website. See attachment.
Remote access, apps from unknown sources, et cetera sounds like something to be careful with, so I have to assume that you were in contact with official Apple support. Anyway, thank you for the information.
Nothing on the European site.
