Delete key not working on MacBook Air keyboard

i noticed my delete key had gotten a lot slower so i assumed it was just debris and it was but as i tried to put the key cap back on the key just became flat and doesn't work anymore unless i remove it again and just use it from the base, nothing looks physically broken and every other key works just as normal, how to fix it ?

Can't 'Unpress' Key on MacBook Air Keyboard Just a while ago, I tried to clean my MacBook's keyboard. I removed the command key, cleaned it and put it back - all good. But the second key, Option, I removed it, cleaned it and put it back but it is kinda... stuck in pressed position? It seems to be permanently pressed down and won't 'unpress'. DELETE key on Macbook Air 2019 -- after being cleaned -- cannot be snapped back into place. I've seen this problem reported - but never resolved: I removed my DELETE key for cleaning with air. When I replaced it -- though it seems to work -- it doesn't stay in place and has not 'clicked' or snapped back down. So it floats and will fall off if I move my laptop around. -- None of the plastic nibs have been damaged -- the rubber central round key support is in place and undamaged -- a thin veil of plastic (looks like human skin) and though disturbed, is still present WHAT PART OF THE KEY ACTUALLY ATTACHES TO THE BOARD?

I have a 2010 MacBook Air with an unresponsive L key I have a 2010 MacBook Air and the L key is unresponsive. No spills, ever. Is it possible to remove the key and check underneath it for any grit under it? Any other troubleshooting suggestions? I tried resetting the SMC with no luck. Thanks for any advice. ken

you should not remove any key from the keyboard on MacBook.

you need to change the entire keyboard for your device ,however there key cap replacement for only some models.

So visit a Apple service provider for additional screening and details.
