Why is my iTunes not working on Windows 11?

The version I downloaded from Apple yesterday to my Win 11 machine was 12.13.4.4.

It is working for listening to music and syncing my iPhone 14. However, it will NOT allow me to update to the current iOS.

Several other people have posted recently that the current version of iTunes doesn't appear to offer an upgrade from iOS 17 to 18 for devices that should be compatible. It may be a bug in iTunes. Backup your device then update it over the air.
