What is the best app to use to print text messages from my IPhone to back up a complaint filed with the police? I have a PC and an IPad. I would prefer information that would allow me to use the PC as I am not very familiar with the OS on the IPad.

If you have an attorney, start by asking them the best procedure. Different courts may have different requirements.
The free option is to take screenshots of the texts and print them just like you would any photo.
You can also purchase software such as iMazing or TouchCopy for your computer that will allow you to download your messages as either txt or pdf files.
Again, you really need to find out what the court accepts.
