iOS Apple mail port settings

In iOS 18.3 there first seem to be any way to specify which pets must be used with your IMAP mail provider.

When you setup you email, there’s no place to input specific ports to use.

The email account verifies in green, but cannot send. Intermittently cannot receive.

The ports from the provider are not the generic standard. Is there. AMYWHERE I can go double check these settings so I can use my email?

i did find where to access these on macOS Apple Mail, which by the way is not intuitive at all. But mail setup on macOS is an entirely separate system than iOS and’s must be manually setup up again… the installation is not shared. So having it working in mill laptop dies not equate to having it working in my iPhones.
