What happened to my “crickets” text tone?
I had my whole family designated as crickets when they text me so I know it’s them. It’s gone now, what happened?

Apple removed the Crickets tone for Text Messages a while ago. It is still available as a tone for phone calls, just not for text messages. If you don't want to choose another tone for your family messages, you can go out to the iTunes Store, then Tone Store and look for a Cricket tone, which will cost about $1.
