I can’t update my old MacBook Air

I have an old MacBook that dates from 2013, I think. I got a notice that soon Mac OS Big Sur will no longer be supported. When I check for updates, it states that I am running the latest edition, Version 11.7.10.


So what’s the deal?

Version 11.7.10 is the latest version of Big Sur. It was release Sept 11, 1023 and it is the latest macOS that a 2013 MacBook Air can be upgraded to.


The model year of your MacBook Air is available at Apple menu > About This Mac.
