Is it safe to leave my iPhone charger plugged in?

I read that it is not safe to leave my phone charger and cord plugged in when not charging the phone, and I want to know if it safe.

Perhaps if your residence or business has more than a few

of those power taps which even where no load is on them,

they do consume some electricity that adds to your bill...

So on that score, you may consider to unplug those not in

actual use, and later attach them to the grid, as needed.

I've several of those 'little power vampires' which tap into a meter.

Guess if you happen to own a solar charger that saves that power

to own battery system, & dedicated to device uses; that'd be OK.

To see where the power is used locally, for a reasonable cost,

read and maybe buy a power test meter; it measures your use.

I've a "Kill-a-Watt" meter that seems to offer more than I need.

Heard that are good to test output of electrical generators too.

Any suggestion is mostly inclined toward efficiency. That's fine.

Most of my stuff here 'goes offline' by itself; so a good backup

UPS with some runtime is advised. Beats 'surge protectors.'
