HDMI to connect my iPhone with TV on displaying screen

I’m trying to use a hdmi to iPhone to connect my phone to my tv however it isn’t showing a display

Why won’t iPhone 16e connect to TV via USB C / HDMI adapter? As a tech teacher I need my new 16e to be able to plug into the various TVs I teach on. Most of the TVs don’t have wireless mirroring capabilities and I need to be able to connect via HDMI cable. My iPad 10th gen connects perfectly fine via my Apple USB C / HDMI adapter, but my brand new 16e will not. Why? Is there here a workaround? PLEASE HELP!

What USBC/HDMI/Cable standards are required to enable LG TV as monitor for iphone 16 pro Currently using a Boneik USB C to HDMI adapter on a HDMI cable connected to my iPhone 16 pro, however the display on the LG C3 OLED has a red background and there is a deep pink/red wash all over making video unwatchable. The same result occurs whether HDMI directly connected to TV or through receiver. Also tried with different HDMI cable. Are there particular cable and/or HDMI standards I need to be aware of to match the USB C output of the phone? I've checked TV settings and it works well with a GoPro camera connected to HDMI.
