How can I revert from 24-hour clock to 12-hour clock on Mac despite previous settings?

Once you enable 24 hour time you cannot go back to 12 hour time. You can change the settings (there are 2) but they do not affect what you see on the menu bar.

Is there a way of setting my iMac to constantly display the time? I have a late 2015 iMac, Retina4K 21.5" with a 3.3 Ghz processor...using some old forum instructions which I found online, I found that they didn't really apply to my Mac...they called for me to open the Date & Time preference and then select the "Clock" tab...I can't find any such tab on my Mac...I'm using Monterey 12.7.6, which appears to be pegged as the ceiling for my Mac. Set a time for MacBook to turn off Before I updated my MacBook I could set a time for example 12am or 3am for the Mac to turn off and it would then turn off that time every night. After I updated I can't find those settings, only that I can set a timer for 30 min.. 1 hour..of me being offline. Is that setting removed?

Cannot edit Screen Time Limits (adult using own computer) A while ago I set up Screen Time for myself on my macbook (running Sequoia). Later, I found a better blocker option (Cold Turkey), but every time I try to edit Screen Time, the System Settings app immediately closes. I don't know how to undo what I've done. For now, at 10pm each night all of my apps say I've reached my limit. (Mostly annoying if we're in the middle of watching a movie.) I have of course restarted the Macbook multiple times, without any effect. Please help!

You don't mention which version of macOS you're running but you may have to restart after changing the setting.
