Someone reported iOS 18.3.1 also seems to require wi-fi. Do it at hone on wi-fi, maybe set it to Tonight rather than Now.
Also need to be near the iphone, battery greater than 50%.
Same issue, didn’t download for hours, kept indicating “verifying…”. I finally powered off my watch and after turning it back on, the update downloaded.
The download was in ‘verifying’ status for days. I did a hard reset on my watch, unlocked it and the update downloaded straight away.
I thought so too. But I just wanted to anticipate the download of the Watch Os 11.3.1 upgrade on iPhone and then install it on Watch later at home, since the upgrade to iOS 13.3.1 was successful using only the cellular network and without Wi-Fi.
No WiFi and No VPN in use, I’m trying only by cellular connection.
Hi. I had the same issue but then this morning after my 7th attempt 11.3.1 started downloading to my watch. Not sure how helpful this is but in my case I just persevered and eventually it worked.
Why is watchOS 11.3.1 not downloading on my iPhone ?
