Apple Pay card selection not working

Have used various cards on Apple Pay for quite a while until now without a problem . The last two times that I selected my Tesco credit card at checkout ( which I have done many times before ) the payment is getting allocated to my default card instead of the Tesco card. Not doing anything differently so not sure why the card reader is picking up the default card instead of the card that my iPhone is displaying at the time. Any idea why this is happening?

I’ve only seen one other report of this behavior and I think it also involved a Tesco card. I suggest you contact Apple Support in the UK and see if they have any reports and a possible solution.


The only thing I can think of is removing the card and re-adding it. You could also talk to the bank about the tokens Tesco has in your Wallet. They should be able to delete unused tokens.
