Requesting a refund for unused Apple Music subscription on iPhone

Every month from 2020 I have a payment of $8.99 from Apple Music. I’m not using this service you can see on my phone app which I never used. I would like to have a full refund from 2020 for all my direct payments for a service which I’m not using

This is primarily a user-to-user support forum; other Apple users like you. We cannot refund anything but the following information may help a little.

Cancel the subscription so that you won't continue to be charged in the future (if you haven't already). There is an Apple article that explains how to cancel subscriptions. Click on the following link: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

Subscriptions aren't usually refundable. I've heard of exceptions being made by Apple but I've never heard of anything longer than a few months. Try the following: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support

Shame on you. You were taking payments for more than 5 years without my permission. I never used your App for music. Just disgusting.

That is how any subscription works. You are free to cancel at any time, but that is up to you. It is no different than having a Netflix subscription and not watching any of the shows. You will continue to be charged for that subscription too, whether you watch any of the shows or not..

I don't believe that your subscription was started without your permission. What most likely happened is that you started a free trial and did not cancel that free trial. When you start a free trial on your phone, you will see the free trial period along with the subscription that you will be charged if not cancelled. You must authorize this by double clicking the side button, followed by verification with FaceID/TouchID or Passcode to your device. It cannot be done by accident.
