What characters are acceptable for an Apple Account password?

I'd like to strengthen my Apple ID password. Are the following characters allowed — £, ¥, ©, ®, ™, ¶?

Perhaps there is a list of acceptable (or invalid) password characters available on Apple's support site?

I haven't seen anything that gives more specifics than the following from Security and your Apple Account - Apple Support

Apple requires that you use a strong password for your Apple Account — eight or more characters, including upper and lowercase letters and at least one number.

I would just try some of the characters you want and see if they are accepted.

I would also turn on two-factor authentication if not already on and see the other suggestions in the above support article.
