Syncing iCloud across devices

my parent account recently upgraded to iCloud+ with 2 TB of iCloud storage for our shared family group. it shows up on their account but not on mine. how come?

I presume you don't have the free 5GB plan because if you did you should have been transferred to the Family Sharing 2TB plan automatically.


Subscribers to an existing paid plan have to accept the new iCloud+ plan before being able to access it.

If you did have the free plan, and have not migrated to the new Family Sharing iCloud+ plan, use the link at the foot of that document to contact Apple Support.
