Shortcuts automation error - CarPlay

I have an automation set up so when my phone connects to CarPlay it automatically launches two apps. This is a stupid simple, 1-step automation. For some reason I keep getting the attached error when it runs. It’s worth noting that both apps have permission set to run in the background.

Also attached is a screenshot of the automation with hopes someone can diagnose and help fix the issue, as it’s driving me crazy. 😖

Shortcuts Automation failed I have a 3rd party shortcut that’s supposed to run every morning at 4:32 am. Since I updated to iPadOS 17.2, the automation has failed to run. I get this error instead: Shortcuts Automation failed ”At 4:32, daily” encountered an error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (MPCAssistantMediaRemoteSendCommandError-Domain error 11.) I can’t find any information about this error, and I need this automation to run. It’s the only thing that reliably wakes me up in the morning. Please help.

Shortcuts automation not triggering with accessibility shortcut I found an issue with shortcuts and an automation not triggering properly. I have an automation set up so that it opens the shortcuts app immediately after the settings app is opened, as a deterrent of sorts. However, if you access settings through the accessibility shortcut found in the control center (swiping from the top of the screen), then it doesn’t activate the automation whatsoever. I don’t know any way to fix this, and wanted to report it and have it fixed. Any idea on how I’d do that? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How do I run certain automations when the screen is locked? I have an automation that is set to run at a certain time of day. Even when the ipad / iphone is locked it will run the following shortcuts: A greeting to me: Read me the weather Give me my calendar appointments Tell me the gold price Play me certain random music clips in my Apple music library. However when I try to use Assistant (Google assistant) in a shortcut it stops and asks me to tap to continue (screen locked). If the screen is unlocked, it Assistant runs just fine. Why do the apple apps run on a locked screen but google assistant won't? You can see two photos below of firstly the automation, and secondly the shortcut of the Google Assistant. The automation only runs the first part but blocks on the second if the screen is locked.
