No Face ID Reset on iPhone 15 Pro

Just had a software update to 18.3.1 and after the update, the Face ID was reset back to original mode. I don't use Face ID, nor do I want to use Face ID. However, I am unable to turn off the daily prompts to set it. There is no Face ID Reset, as described in the "learn more" link from the phone, and every legitimate Apple website link shows to resolve this use the Face ID Reset. So, either the information to turn off the Face ID completely is outdated, or there is no way to turn this off. How can I resolve this to my satisfaction?
