If you installed or had a third party battery installed, then the third party battery would require to be conditioned (some call it calibrated). Any reputable vendor will provide the instructions with their third party battery....if you had a third party battery installed professionally, then the tech should have done this for you as part of the repair process.

If you only have an Apple OEM battery installed by Apple from the factory or an Apple Store or AASP, then the others are correct....there is nothing you need to do.

Anything that needed to be done to a new Macintosh computer too make it work great was already done for you in the factory, before it was delivered to you, ready to work.

In addition, Everything you need for a great experience was shipped in the box, except ONE -- a drive on which to store your Time Machine backup copy of your files. The free Time Machine software is already built into MacOS.

If this is an Apple replacement battery, it does not need to be conditioned -- just use it.
