How do I restart my MacBook Pro when the screen is frozen?
I don’t know why or how the screen froze, but with no power button, how can I restart the computer?

Command-Option-ESC brings up the Force-quit menu, unless it's crashed BAD.
"My dear, you have had that capability all along...
Look down at your feet. Do you see those ruby slippers..."
WHAT? No ruby slippers?
OK, Ok. Use this:
The power button is a deep press of the touch-ID sensor.
Press and Hold for ten seconds to do an emergency, uncontrolled power-down.

Frozen Screen:
Perhaps it is a Frozen App?
Try getting out of all frozen apps, by Force Quitting them. You'll find Force Quit... in the Apple menu. Use my User Tip to find out how to access Force Quit...: [command + tab] Use it to Access your Mac when Something is Not Responding - User Tip
Thank you so much. I have had this computer for 6 years and never realized that the touch id sensor was also a power button!!! And this MacBook Pro has never crashed like that. And yes, it was too BAD for the Command-Option-ESC! Again, thanks, Wizard!
