iPhone 12 can’t hear caller unless on speaker

For the past week I cannot hear any sounds from caller unless I turn on load speaker

If the microphones on your iPhone aren't working - Apple Support

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker - Apple Support

If nothing above is of assistance…it’s likely a hardware issue and you need to have your iPhone checked…
