Continuity Camera black screen and iPhone Mirroring unable to connect

Hello, yesterday after a restart (from Boot Camp into Mac OS) I suddenly couldn't use my iPhone 16 Pro for Continuity Camera on my Mac Pro 2019 (Intel). The iPhone was still detected by the Mac via USB, and it could sync. The iPhone Continuity Camera appeared in Facetime and Photo Booth, but gave a black screen. Desk View also gave a black screen. The iPhone Mirroring application on Mac couldn't connect to the phone.

I tried restarting the Mac, the iPhone, airplane mode on and off, unplug and replug USB, tried a different port, updated to the latest Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1, nothing worked.

Today I found a fix online. I went to the iPhone settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. I rejoined the Wifi network. It worked. Continuity Camera came back to life.

I also renamed the iPhone (in its settings) and rebooted the Mac. All sorted.

There was no need to adjust any firewall or camera access setting. I hope this information is helpful.
