How to check firmware of external optical drive

I have a MacBook Air, running OS 15.3.

I have a Pioneer optical drive connected and want to check the firmware.

I navigate to the Apple Logo > About this Mac > More Info > scroll down

to System Report > Hardware > USB > select the Pioneer drive.

It will only show me Version 1.0, not the actual firmware version. I know the firmware on my BDR-XS07UHD is 1.03, I can use a Windows computer and see it.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
