Some apps appear small and narrow on my iPad

I just purchased my very first IPAD and I am over the moon with all the features, ease, and accessibility.

However, as I open a few of my apps they are very narrow and I am unable to expand their size. I have tried numerous times posting Q’s, then going through the process of expanding the screen size to no avail. Now, I am posting this question to the place I most ASSURDELY ought to have begun. The Apple community is the most reliable, and intelligent group of users interfacing with MAC products in the World.

I simply am without a doubt due to the product, system and interface without an answer?

Some Apps designed for the much smaller screens of iPhone - themselves sometimes designed to only be presented in Portrait orientation. These Apps, when installed on iPad, will presented as they would be seen on an iPhone with the same aspect ratio.

Given your description, I surmise that the Apps with which you are having difficulty fall into this category. Apps that are explicitly designed for iPhone will often not scale to fit the much larger iPad screen.
