How to unlock iPhone 14 Pro Max after powering off during software update installation?

so i was setting up my new iPhone 14 pro max, and when i got to the install software update i clicked on the blue tab which said install and it then changed to a grey bar with the loading circle. It stayed on this stage for about half an hour so i thought there was an issue, i stupidly then powered off my phone with the slider option. When my phone then turned back on it showed the hello page and when i went to unlock the phone the slider would go up then flicker the pin pad for my password and then go straight back to the hello page as if i just turned on my phone. i have also tried the hard reset where i quickly click up and down on the volume button and then hold the off button but it still resulted in the same issue. I am stuck on what to do, please if anything can be said it would be much appreciated
