Apple Watch and phone won’t connexct
I got a new watch at Christmas but it has never connected to my watch

but mind you if the watch run
watchOS 11 it requires the iphone to run ios18
watchOS 10 requires the iphone to run ios17
watchOS 9 requires the iphone to run ios16
and so forth
so if your iphone do not support the required ios version that the watch requires you can't connect them
