Why can't I access settings on my Apple Watch SE 2?

Yesterday I purchased the Apple Watch SE 2, everything was fine until today I tried to access the watch settings and I had to press countless times to open my "Settings" later when trying to access "General" it wouldn't open. I can swipe up-down, left-right, but when I want to open an app I can't. I turn it off and opened it twice after which I resorted to resetting it but nothing changed. Please help me...
