Why is Apple Pay not working on my Apple Watch Series 10?

Trying to make Apple Pay work on my watch 10 series, the card is working on my phone 15 pro max and was working on my other apple watch. When i want to add the payment card i have to create a code and then i can not click this to do so. I have already uninstalled the watch a few times and installed with creating a code and without but the result remains the same. My phone has iOS 18.3.1 and watch iOS 11.3.1. what to do?

Hi there,

for me what worked when this happened was to unpair the Apple Watch from my account and erase it and then repair it using the normal setup method. But if that still does not work I’d say contact the card issuer

The code is not created on your Apple Watch or iPhone. The bank sends the code to your device as a means of verifying your identity and your access to the Apple Watch.

Are you receiving the code from the bank?
