What is the difference between AirPods Pro 2 (2023) and AirPods Pro 2 (2024)?

I’m planning to buy the AirPods Pro 2 (2023) version, but I noticed that Apple also released a 2024 version. The main difference seems to be the switch from a Lightning charging case to USB-C.

Are there any other major differences in terms of sound quality, battery life, or additional features? If I buy the 2023 version, will I be missing out on anything significant compared to the 2024 model?
